Be it for your lunch break or meeting a friend for a quick casual meal, here are some easy, reasonably-priced and tasty (of course) options to enjoy Singapore food.
If you are looking to stay indoors or order to the office, you can use the revolutionary Food Panda. Food Panda is an online food delivery website which delivers food from top restaurants to your door.
Thai Express is dotted all over the city and is always located in a pleasant situation: just look at its location, looking out over Marina Bay beside the Esplanade Theatre. Other locations include Holland Village and Orchard Road. The menu offers a range of tasty salad, noodle and curry dishes- our favourite is the red curry. Main courses will be around S$10.
With an eclectic collection of antique furniture and a delicious menu of sandwiches, bagels and waffles Restore (124 Tanjong Pagar Rd) is the perfect place to break up a hard day’s work. All the furniture inside is for sale, and part of Restore’s flipside- an antique furniture restorer. The wholewheat cream cheese bagel is just the ticket here (around S$5).
For a great salad in the CBD, head to the Green Bar (16/17 Hitachi Towers, 16 Collyer Quay). Here you will find a vast selection of salad combinations in stylish, minimalistic surroundings. We love the chili crab salad. Salads here range from S$8 to S$13.
You’ve just spent the last few hours shopping and are looking for a place to cap off an evening of self-indulgence. Look no further. Canelé Patisserie (Paragon Shopping Centre, 290 Orchard Road) has taken indulgence and given it tangible form. Prepare to be totally wowed by the devilishly sumptuous macorons and the best cappuccino in town. Enjoy.
